Tom has been a consultant in respiratory paediatrics since February 2006. He was a specialist registrar in the department before moving to the Royal Brompton Hospital and Great Ormond Street in London, for a period of full time research and to finish his training. His particular interests are cystic fibrosis, pleural infection, sleep and long term ventilation.
John is Reader in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, University of Bristol and has been a consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Bristol Children's Hospital since 1995. He trained in Manchester, London, Aberdeen and spent a year as a Training Fellow in Perth, Western Australia. His interests are in asthma, sleep and long term ventilation of children.
Hayley has been a nurse at Bristol Children’s Hospital since qualifying in 1995. She has worked in Oncology, Medicine and Cardiology before joining PICU for 4 years. She then went on to work on the Paediatric hospital-based Outreach Team, supporting children/families/staff caring for children requiring High Dependency care. In July 2007 she became Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Home Ventilation Service in Bristol and the South West region.
